In late 2022, OpenAI unveiled ChatGPT, ushering in a new era of artificial intelligence (AI) that has reignited interest and enthusiasm across various domains. One of the most promising areas of exploration lies within the realm of healthcare, where AI, particularly large language models (LLMs), has the potential to revolutionize medical practices, from consultations to surgical procedures. In the research conducted by Hoch et al. [
1], an examination of ChatGPT’s proficiency in addressing otolaryngology-related queries was undertaken. The central question that remains is whether otolaryngology specialists can effectively utilize ChatGPT in their consulting practices.
