Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Onkologische Patient:innen haben ein hohes Informationsbedürfnis. Patientenleitlinien (PatLL) übersetzen klinische Leitlinien in eine allgemein verständliche Sprache. Bislang ist nur wenig zu Erfahrungen mit PatLL bekannt.

Methoden

Erhoben wurden die (inter-)nationale Entwicklung und Erstellung von PatLL sowie die Nutzung onkologischer PatLL in Deutschland. Auf Basis der Ergebnisse diskutierten verschiedene Stakeholder:innen über 35 Handlungsempfehlungen zur Verbesserung der PatLL.

Ergebnisse

Patientenleitlinien werden als hilfreich angesehen, sind aber wenig bekannt. Viele Handlungsempfehlungen beziehen sich auf die Dissemination der PatLL. Weitere Ansatzpunkte zur Verbesserung sind das Format bzw. Design und das gemeinsame Arbeiten von Patient:innen und Leistungserbringenden mit der PatLL.

Diskussion

Durch die Einbeziehung verschiedener Perspektiven und Stakeholder:innen sollte die Implementierung der Ergebnisse in der Praxis gesichert werden.
