In a study of seven paediatric patients aged between 1-10 years treated at UHWI, Jamaica between 2007−2012, a patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed hyperglycaemia during treatment with doxorubicin for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL). The patient, who had ALL, received combination chemotherapy, which included 4 doses of doxorubicin [dosage and route not stated]. Post-induction, the child was in remission. However, the child developed hyperglycaemia during the treatment [duration of treatment to reaction and outcome not stated]. …
