Over the last decade, there has been a significant increase in deaths and complications due to opioid overdose [13]. Regions with the highest incidence of opioid use are associated with the highest rate of non-traumatic compartment syndrome [4]. Patients with opioid-related compartment syndrome (ORCS) are more likely to have higher mortality rates and complications compared to those with non-opioid related compartment syndrome (NORCS) [5]. …
