Zusammenfassung

Aus Fehlern wird man klug – diese alte Weisheit trifft natürlich auch auf die Arbeitswelt zu. Nicht zuletzt gehen zahlreiche Erfindungen wie das Penicillin, die Post-it-Klebezettel und viele mehr bekannterweise auf Fehler zurück. Jedoch ist es häufig nicht einfach, Fehlern etwas Positives abzugewinnen, denn Fehler stellen Situationen dar, in denen man ein Ziel nicht erreicht hat, wobei die Nichterreichung des Ziels prinzipiell vermeidbar gewesen wäre (Frese und Fischer 2015). Sie verursachen zudem Kosten: Produkte müssen ausgesondert werden, Dienstleistungen müssen erneut erbracht werden – dies alles kostet Zeit und Geld.
