Zusammenfassung

Die Klavikulafraktur ist mit ca. 6 % eine der häufigsten knöchernen Verletzungen des Schultergürtels. Das Patientenkollektiv beinhaltet 2 Altersgipfel (2. und 8. Lebensdekade); der Großteil der Klavikulafrakturen tritt bei jungen, aktiven Patienten im Rahmen von Sport- oder Freizeitunfällen auf. Neben der Anamnese mit Fokus auf den Traumamechanismus stellen die klinische und die adäquate bildgebende Untersuchung die Eckpfeiler der Diagnostik dar. Bei nichtdislozierten Frakturen mit geringer Dislokationsgefahr und gering dislozierten Frakturen im pädiatrischen Sektor hat die konservative Therapie einen hohen Stellenwert. Nach Dislokation und/oder Verkürzung sowie bei hohem funktionellem Anspruch kann operativ eine stabile Fixierung mit der Möglichkeit der früh-funktionellen Nachbehandlung erreicht werden. Die Indikationsstellung des Verfahrens ist allerdings von weiteren Faktoren abhängig. Die operative Stabilisierung kann die Gefahr der Pseudarthroseausbildung erheblich reduzieren; deswegen gewinnt sie zunehmend an Bedeutung.
