In a retrospective, observational, single-centre cohort study, a 76-year-old man was described, who developed severe postural hypotension during treatment with imipramine [indication not stated]. The man was hospitalised for cardiac investigation after a fainting episode. He had been receiving imipramine 50mg daily [route not stated] for more than 4 years without considering the relevance of continued treatment.
