29. Bergsport mit Herzerkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Bergsport zählt zu den beliebtesten sportlichen Tätigkeiten im Alpenraum und kann zu allen Jahreszeiten in der einen oder anderen Form ausgeübt werden. Somit kann er zweifelsfrei einen wichtigen Beitrag zu den evidenzbasierten positiven gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen körperlicher Aktivität leisten. Allerdings ist Bergsport auch mit subjektiven und objektiven Gefahren verbunden, und die gesundheitlichen Nettoauswirkungen dürfen nicht unabhängig von einem bestimmten Unfall- und Notfallrisiko gesehen werden. Viele vorbestehende Herzerkrankungen stellen generell keine Kontraindikation für den Bergsport dar. Allerdings kommt der sportmedizinischen Voruntersuchung mit individueller Nutzen-Risiko-Einschätzung, der individuellen körperlichen (sportartspezifischen) Vorbereitung, einer sorgfältigen Planung und der individuellen Belastungsgestaltung bei der Bergsportausübung ganz besondere Bedeutung zu.
